Now that I've posted my pic, I'd like to ask for some input & advice. I've been following an abbreviated routine for a coupla months now, and my body weight is up to my all-time high of 150. Now that I've hit that milestone, my next goal is 165 lbs. I'm pretty certain that I'm going to be departing the ranks of the all-natural very soon. Since I don't want to set off all my friends' and co-workers' alarm bells, I intend on a pretty light first cycle: just Sust with Clomid at the end. Once I am no longer natural, should I ditch the abbreviated routine? Since I'm not gonna be juicing that hard, I don't know how appreciably my recuperative ability will increase. My arms need to come up quite a bit, as do my lats. What else do you folx see? ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

whats your diet right now?? try doing a bulking diet, i.e. 500 carbs per day, 5000 calories per day, shitload of red meat, 2 or 3 protein shakes a day, yada yada, if you search for a bulking diet, you can find alot of shit. I am doing a bulking diet right now, started on October first and have put on about 10 pounds of mass so far. I haven't been taking in a full diet because its really fucking hard, but I'm taking in as much food as I can. I just wish I knew I wasn't eating enough sooner. Basically, building muscle is 80% nutritional, so obviously think about that first before anything else. Oh and the diet is not easy, but its what it takes for weight gain. If your body fat gets too high, then cut carbs and hit the weights more. I took a light cycle over the summer, dbol/clomid and that was pointless because I kept no gains, I feel if you are going to juice, then do it right, if you are afraid of friends and such thinking you are juicing because of massive gains, thats normal, but pretty much defeats the purpose of juicing, because you will restrict your gains that way. you might put on 10 pounds in 2 or 3 weeks with a good cycle, but if you are worried that others will notice then you won't achieve the maximum gains at all and will probably slack off and lose the 10 lbs. Basically, I didn't do a bulking diet when I juiced, which was a huge mistake, I probably could of packed on over 20 but would of only kept around 6 or 7 because thats just the way it is with a light cycle. So If your going to juice, play it smart and go balls out or you won't make any gains what so ever. By the way, whats your diet now?? if its all protein shakes like alot of people do when trying to pack on weight, then its wrong, just look at the atkins diet, people who want to lose weight cut carbs(such as pasta and bread) and take in more protein, just curious, hows your diet now? ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]()

Why bother with gear at 150lbs? Your body still has an unbelievable amount of potential for growth at 150lbs. A year ago I weighed 150lbs with a 35" chest, 12" arms, and 20" legs. Today I weigh 172lbs with a 44" chest, 15" arms, and 25" legs. If you train big, eat big, and sleep big, you'll get big. Save the gear for a few years down the road when you're 200+ and haven't gained a pound in a year. Juicing now would be a waste. You sound as if you think that getting big naturally is impossible. I've been natural all my life; I'll be natural this year, and the day I step on the scale and it reads 215lbs (my goal) and I look in the mirror and see that I can't even pinch a tiny bit of skin off my body, I'll still be natural. The day I meet my goals, I'll be able to say: "I did it all by myself." Wouldn't you like to do the same? -Warik ![]() ![]() ![]()

Are you serious, Warik? 22 lbs in a year of hard work?? That's pretty damn sweet. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Yeah, 22lbs, but that was my first year of working out. But that just goes to show that it IS possible to put on a lot of muscle naturally and that the juice is never a "must" unless you plan to go for the Olympia title some day. I don't know how long you've been training, but if you are a beginner, you can expect to put on a lot of mass with proper dieting and training. If you have been lifting correctly and eating correctly for a while, then you might expect less, but you can still expect something. Just remember: the Squat and Deadlift ARE YOUR FRIENDS!!! -Warik ![]() ![]() ![]() |
