how many of you are doing what you truly want to in life. i mean, there is something you really enjoy and sought out a way to make a living doing it. i know in the world of business etc, there are a shitload of boring ass jobs that i know noone really says "hey this job looks interesting". im just wondering if money was a deciding factor to study that discipline etc. im getting to the point now (college) where i really need to pick a direction. ive been skirting the issue for long enough and need to figure out what it is i want to do. just wondering if you guys went through this or always knew what you wanted to do.(or are still searching) ------------------     | ||

I wanted to get into comic book art...I sure wasn't careful with what i wished for. Deadlines and stress and working 12-18 hrs a day half the time...ugh. Plus it's not even exactly what I wanted to do....I'm an inker (tracer,for those of you who've seen "Chasing Amy"), because the pencilling wasn't open. I have recently gone back to shcool after a 3-year layoff, and am studying health and excercise science. It'll be fun molesting my female trainees..more fun than now. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with this job until school's over...it's good money and it's the only thing I know how to do (besides masturbating 10x/day). | ||

I love my job. There are things in life that an individual has to make a decision on. Do you want to make alot of money? Or do you want to like your job. Some of the time you have to pick one or the other. There are some things out there that you can make good money at and enjoy at the same time. But there are more things than money. Do you want to wake up when you are 70 and wonder why the heck you worked a job that you hated just to give your money to someone else? Its not worth it to me. I want to influence people in a positive way and look back and see that I have done that. Make a positive impact in what ever you do. Because when it comes down to it the way to measure it is to see how many friends you have. Everything else is gonna burn. Im a firefighter. I really love what I do. I get to run up and down the road blowing a loud horn and helping folks out. Thats what its all about to me. Helping as many people I can. Sorry to ramble. Find out what you really enjoy doing and do It well. The money will be there. Later.....r |
