i just got kicked off of napster by metallica. napster said i could get back on, but i have to sign some letter. but they said i could be sued or some shit. fuck that. does anybody know another way i could get back on.    | ||

yeah man. Just do a search for it somewhere on the net. Search for like a napster metallica patch or something. I've found it at quite a few sites, its pretty simple to carry out. | ||

just sign it...There are way to many people for them to sue...I signed that stupid thing like 6 times...I got booted off in may and let back on in Aug. it's no big deal really...After you get back on take your metalica music and put it somewhere else... | ||

if you got kicked off, all you have to do is do a search for napster fix. it will give you websites to clear the napster block on your computer. it worked for me lastnight. | ||

Even though Metallic says they are not doing it for the money I think that's bullshit. They are just greedy fucking bastards. Napster shouldn't effect their sales at all. | ||

This very thing happened to me when the big Metal(lick)a scare first started. I was back on Napster in a matter of hours. DONT fill out the form. I have the hack at home somewhere. I did mine manually. You have to remove some registry entries. I believe there is an executable on the 'net that will do everything to clear the registry. Then all you do is register with a new name. Of course, remove the Metal(lick)a songs from your Napster shared directory. If you can not find the hack to clear your registry on the 'net, shoot me an email and I will see what I can do for you. | ||

Scour is pretty cool. It is not quite as stable as napster though. A lot more unfinished files and such. As well, scour is going bankrupt i believe, so it might not be around much longer. Just have to see how that goes. And as far as signing on as someone else. It will start the new name and all on napster, but it is all saved in your registry and has to be cleared or replaced with a blank one, therefore napster recognizes you. | ||

Hey bro the same thing happened to me about three months ago. I signed the thing and nothing ever come of it. I have a friend who can walk you through erasing it and then you just have to re-download. e-mail me. | ||

It happened to me and when I tried to delete and re-install it reconized my computer. I ended up getting a program that changes the registry for napster. I also had to rename all of my metallica | ||

I have Media Player and Real player but that's not the problem. I can't download anything. I tried audio and pics too. I get "error" each time.
