------I KNOW THIS IS LONG BUT PLEASE READ, THANKS-------- Well, I'd sure like to post a pic. Unfortunately, I'm not posting a pic until I weigh 200 lbs. at about 7-8% bf. Currently I weigh between 193-195 at about 10%. Therefore I figure I need to gain about 10 more lbs. before cutting up. My BF pretty much stays the same when I gain since my diet is ultra clean.... ANYWAY, here's my problem. I seem to have lost a bit of my desire, actually I wouldn't say that, more accurately, I've lost a bit of belief that I can push past weight. I have made just about zero progress since August, and I also injured my back which set me back a bit. It just seems like my body is not interested in growing at all anymore. It's taking me a lot longer to gain strength and weight lately then it did in the summer when I was gaining steady. I'm thinking about changing my routine, currently doing Max-OT which up until lately has worked wonderfully. The basic principles are 4-6 heavy reps to failure, compound exercises, etc... My other choice is to utilize those tantalizingly wonderful chemicals known as AS. I have the source(s), but I'm afraid to try mail order. Reason being, I'm going to be at a point in my life soon where a felony would be unacceptable, because I will be needing to find a good job to help pay for college. I STILL can't get a clear fucking answer on what would happen if say, 16 200mg amps of deca got seized by customs, whether they'd just send me a letter or come and try a controlled delivery. Anyway, if you're still reading this long ass post, I need some suggestions on possibly a good new routine that's worked extremely well for you, or whatever else you think might help. Havoc especially, please give me some insight. Thank you. | ||

sounds like you inspiration, post your pic...we will make so much fun of you that you will have no other option but to take it out on the weights... you are probably done growing, AS won't help you...how's that for a start.... seriously- you are too young for as...this shit is not a game...you are injecting shit into your ass...believe me, it will fuck with your head the first time you do it... take a week off, eat well, sleep well...it has always worked for me... | ||

I know special bill. If I had a cycle in my house right now I probably still wouldn't start it, but I believe I'm definitely mature enough to handle it. (of course, so does everyone that does it LOL) A week off is not an option. I just took 5 weeks of light training 'cause of my back. Weeks off only make me lose size and strength. | ||

I know johnny o, but this shit is not fucking working...I mean, I seriously don't believe I can push past this shit because I've been hovering around it for so long...at least what I'm doing now won't work...and cause of this I go to the gym thinking fuck it, it's not gonna do shit anyway...which is a poor, whiny attitude I know, but I just can't shake it... | ||

I would take a week off too, keep on your eating, change your routine for sure. Dont be only concerned with how much weight your lifting, up the reps for a while to change things up, you wont impress people at the gym but youll build a better body. How many cals are you at? Really? | ||

Slopain: Monday-Friday, and Sunday I'm at 4700-5000. Saturday I try dropping it to about 3000 to keep my metabolism guessing. Now I have to admit I've had some nasty setbacks, lately I've had insomnia for some reason which fucks up my training, but trust me when I say I don't need a week off. I just pratically took 5. I was thinking of upping my reps, but according to max-ot, it is a waste of time to really go above 6...and this guy knows his shit. | ||

insomia? have you been taking your morning temp? insomia and a low grade fever is clear sign of overtraining. I like slopains advice .. take a week off and research a new routine. | ||

ok. you are stressed a little. you will make progress.. you are only 18! at least you are not losing muscle. as far as college is concerned i have friends in the financial aid industry (i work as a teacher part time).. i and put you in touch with them to get all your finances squared away so you don't have to worry about that. | ||

frack: you can't follow one person's advice. lots of ppl know their shit, and lots of ppl have made progress on a routine other than Max-OT. anyone who says that 1 routine should be used indefinitely is an idiot. 4 reps is practically a power lifting routine, hardly perfect for optimal muscle hypertrophy. | ||

Same thing here man. I did Max OT all suymmer doing a bulking cycle, I gained a good deal of size and strength, but then I switched to a cutting phase and lost about 15 lbs in a month and a half, bad thing is my strength went down with it and is frustrating the hell out of me. And its killed a lot of my desire to go to get my ass in the gym. Right now Im gonna get me some Clen from a friend and then maybe come spring I might just get me a little of something else | ||

I would up my reps to between 8-12 for every set. 4-6 is great for power lifters, it will make you strong, but I believe if you want to be a body builder you need to do at least 8 reps. Do at least 10 reps for legs, they need a little more work the rest of the body. Just my opinion bro, any time you get to a sticking point it is time to change your routine. It keeps your body guessing, and keeps you interested it what you are trying to accomplish. Good luck bro!!! | ||

Frack you need to switch it up, training methods work very well UNTIL your body gets used to them, then its time to change again. After that you can go back to your old method which was working. Insomnia will kill you, sleep time is when you grow. fix that and your on your way. Slopain | ||

I agreewith everybody about changing your routine. Experiment with high reps,low reps,2 sets,3 sets,4 sets etc. Most important- Be patient. You still have milk on your whiskers,Your whole life is ahead of you to get big. Jeez, you have at least 50 years man don't sweat the small stuff,it will happen ------------------ | ||

Sounds like you are in a major platue. SwitCh over to working out at Better Bodies, that way you have a zillion machines to keep your workout fresh. I hear you, I am unmotivated too, think about the more juice, but I am a lot older than you. | ||
