I am going to be honest here. I was at a bachelor party this weekend. I got really ripped and payed for some service(I know its disgusting and I would never do it again, but like I said I am being honest). I got some head, but did it without condom for a few seconds just so I could get an erection. How much risk did I put myself at and when can I get checked out?     | ||

the odds are extremely low...but to be honest, you will have to wait several weeks before your body would start producing anti-bodies to the HIV...ive heard it can go undetected for up to six months... | ||

don't get all worried yet....if she did have AIDS (HIV), you would increase your chances of getting it if you had a cut on your unit and she had a cut on her mouth b/c the primary means of passing it is via blood and/or bodily fluids. there have been very rare occasions of passing via saliva (and this may not have been proven...not sure so no comment)...so long story short, chances are that you are ok, but you can get checked out sooner than later with today's technology. good luck ss | ||

from what i have read (but i'm no expert) there has never been a confirmed case of transmission of HIV through saliva only. This is why it is "safe" to kiss someone with HIV. Of course, this assumes no cuts etc. on either person's mouth. | ||

The only way you could have gotten it is if she had blood in her saliva. The amount of the virus in saliva is to low for transmission. That does not mean you couldn't be the first. You need a base line test, that means one now to rule out any chance you caught the virus prior to your encounter with the hooker. Then you need to have a test every three months for the next year. I think, however, you are safe. | ||

thanks for the info bros, I feel a little better now. Natural wonder I payed $50, I think. As for the rest of you, Unfortunately I just took my last shot last night. However, there is good news! I just got my shipment of andro through the mail and I will gladly send it out to you if it turns out I am infected. |
