I know this sounds harsh. But I am not the only one w/this opinion. And when I heard negative comments from people about this guy before I ever met or talked to him I thought, "They are probably just jealous or something because he may have felt snubbed by him or something like that." Several months back I was told by a third party of a supplement company looking for a female fitness model for their packaging. I'm thinking, OK, sounds good. Then it turns out that it was for Rich Gaspari and his new line of supplements. I'm thinking, "Wow - RICH GASPARI - How cool!" I still have old issues of Muscle and Fitness. Perhaps if I ever meet him, maybe I could get his autograph on one of these mags. Both my hubby and I were fans. So then I'm told by this third party that I would be perfect for the job, but that there was a small formality of a "contest". It would be at an NPC show, the contests would be in swimwear - no G-strings or thongs because it was NOT a T&A contest. They were seriously looking for experienced models who had more muscular, but not huge and shredded physiques. They made it sound like it was going to be this big deal with all of these wonderful opportunities not only in print but for cable shows, etc. That they were very serious were looking forward to a good business relationship for many projects in the future. Well, lo and behold I get to speak w/Mr Gaspari himself on several occasions via the phone and email and I reiterate that I have four children and I am not looking to get involved in yet another T&A-fest that lures unsuspecting women in with promises of "serious opportunities". Again, I was reassured at every turn that they were DEFINITELY NOT looking for that and from my pics I seemed to be what they were looking for and whether I won this particular "contest" or not there would be so many other projects that they felt they would DEFINITELY call me for...and if nothing else, because the "contest" was being held at an NPC show all of the entrants would have to get and NPC card. Being that I was going to be competing a few weeks after this event, I figured the exposure would be good - these people sounded like reputable people who GAVE ME THEIR WORD about their intentions and the money that I had to pay the sitter (how much do you think a sitter for four children from about 3PM to 9PM costs? + my husband was forced to buy a ticket to the show - even though we weren't staying and I wasn't really a competitor) would be worth the NPC card. Well, what do you think I got? You guessed it!......My prize was an education!

True, the girl who won first was a DYNAMITE beauty with a GORGEOUS physique. In all honesty, I couldn't hold a candle to her. HOWEVER - I didn't even make the top ten! Girls who did not have one ounce of muscle, beer guts, and cellulite placed ahead of me...and guess who was swooning over them, trying to get them to come to their next "contest" to be held two weeks later in a nite club? That's right - Mr Gaspari and his associate!....that little fucking worm didn't even have the guts to look me in the face and me like a fucking loser was practically foaming at the mouth earlier asking if he would sign my dusty copy of M&F with his sorry ass on the cover! Then, to make matters worse, his associate was all apologetic and asked to see my portfolio and reassured me that they would definitely be interested in using me for various ad campaigns, etc, etc....but that I shouldn't come to the contest in the nite club in two weeks because that would DEFINITELY be a T&A contest! GEE THANKS! Like this was any different? There were at least 5 other women who had physiques that I can only hope to aspire to someday who didn't make the top ten either! But the silly little cheezy-assed, beer-gutted seventeen year olds, now, hey - they were up there! (NO offense to any 17 year old board members - just stating a fact.) so I'm thinking - well whether these assholes ever call me or not - I don't care - I just want the NPC card for my fucking trouble.

Guess what?! I had a friend (NPC judge) who knows this loser Gaspari call him while I was standing there to ask where my card was. This was after many, MANY ignored emails and phone calls. And that MOTHERFUCKER lied over the phone to my friend and said that because there was a cash prize awarded the contest did not fall under NPC guidelines and did not have to meet their qualifications - so they did not have to get the contestants NPC cards after all! THAT FUCKER - there was no cash prize awarded. The top five got a plaque and the first prize was a photo shoot w/MR DICKHEAD himself that was supposed to have appeared in FLEX this fall. Whether the first prize winner got her shoot, I don't know.

He only invented the NPC card story to get me to show because they were afraid that they wouldn't get enough babes in bathing suits to promote Gaspari Nutrition at the NPC show. They at first, promised $2000 cash, then they said, NPC card now, cash later, then they said, well no cash, but we'll use you for future projects AND you'll get the NPC card...........no cash, no phone call, and I got my own NPC card.

This might not seem like such a big deal to some of you. But I tell everyone I get involved w/up front, there are certain things that I choose not to get involved w/because of my girls and my situation in life. DON'T FUCKING LIE TO ME and DO NOT TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ME. I AM NOT A YOUNG GIRL WHO IS WILLING TO DROP TO HER KNEES BECAUSE I WANT YOU TO HIRE ME. I DO NOT NEED TO WORK. If that is what you are interested in, DO NOT WASTE MY PRECIOUS TIME. I COULD BE DOING LAUNDRY, SPENDING TIME W/MY HUSBAND, PLAYING W/MY GIRLS OR AT LEAST SLEEPING OR TAKING A SHIT! I do not feel like getting paraded around in front of some (half-drunk)assholes so that SOMEONE ELSE can make money. If I'm going to parade around - you better BELIEVE the money is coming to ME and MY GIRLS!
