I don't think he meant to throw at Piazza(sp?)...he was probaly just frustrted and didn't realize how close he came to hitting him with the bat.... | ||

I think Clemens was pissed cause Piazza ran towards 1st and had the bat in hand. It was a foul ball from what I heard, so there was no need for him to run. Shags you seem to be winking alot lately. Did I get some in your eye and that its causing you to wink uncontrollably. Just messin w/ ya Shags. Only cause you're a Dolphins fan. I hope the Jets walk all over them and get me my 10th win on my football pool to make me 10-4 on the week. Last week I only lost 2 games and still lost my pool. The people who win get all the games right and then hardly break .500 for the rest of the football season. Shags, it's all about cost. The majority of Florida residents are retired NYers. The reason is because if you're not working, you're gonna have a hard ass time paying taxes in NY. IMO, the only thing FL is good for is Jacksonville and Tallahassee. | ||

I think Clemens thought he caught the ball at first, when he realized it was the bat, I think he though Piazza launched the bat at him and thats why he threw it back at him. You have to realize, he didn't think that much, it happened it like a second... | ||

Shagwell, I'm a NY-er who has lived in FL as well as other places. Ever pay $55,000 a year in property taxes? That's a reason to leave New York. You guys also have no state income tax, property is far cheaper than NY, and of course the weather. Matt | ||
