Not the case here, but i am getting married and would break up with her if i was not prepared to give up my selfishness. You cant win every argument , choose your battles. Anyways bump for you. ------------------ | ||

I left her because of some "signs" I was seeing from her and also because at the time I made the decision to go back to college after 6 years and thought that I was going to have no life and constantly be studying/working. Well, it turns out that after the first semester I could afford to work part time and go to school, and I actually have time for working out, girls, fucking off, etc. In the back of my mind I thought I might be tempted too much by all the girls at college too, but Im older and wiser it turns out. So my theory was incorrect, but by that time it was too late because I already left her and she moved out of town to live with another guy a few months later. Moral of the story is dont leave someone for reasons you THINK will happen in the future, just cross those bridges if you get to them because you never know what who you have until they are gone. ------------------ | ||

I didn't dump her, she dumped me. We were both young (19/20) and each other's first serious relationship. She told me she had to date other guys to see if she really loved me. It really sucks because I still think about her all the time. It's been almost two years now, and I don't think we're ever going to get back together. | ||

I'm in my 30's now and have been engaged once, never married, but the girl I should have married I fucked up the relationship about 8 years ago. I was too young and immature and envolved with someone else. She knew who and what she wanted and I wasn't it so we split. (mutual because I wanted the other girls then), years of wisdom later and I still run into her, her husband who has the same 1st name as me and their adorable kids and I have to say I shit the bed with that one. She was the one, but if there was one of her there'll be another even better, for all of us. . .peace bros | ||

Bomber, A quick recap: My last two years in college my best friend was a girl. We became such good friends after we hooked up one night...we just kind of started hanging out, and this girl was really fun to be around. But we weren't sleeping together - it sounds weird but I liked her too much to bang her, because when I was in college I likd being single and hooking up with whoever I wanted. After I graduted, we kept in touch. I moved to Seattle (from NY) and we saw each other whenever I was back on the East Coast - about three times a year. After I moved to Georgia we saw each other maybe six times a year. I never really made a visit just to see her - or her just to see me - instead - whenever we were near each other we made it a point to stop in and say hello. | ||
