how do you set the jumpers on a hard drive. I need to set my old drive to slave and the new one is already the master but I got confused from there. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I got that far but where are the darn jumpers at? oh and since I want it to be slave, the thing is just plain. nothing is marked to set the jumpers on. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

the jumpers are usually located on the back of the hd ( by the ide cable connection). as far as the jumper settings just look at the diagram on the hd or the documentation that came with it. It is not unusual for the slave setting to be no jumpers, it just depends on the particular model of hd you have. if you don't have the documentation for the hd, just go to the manufacturers web site and they will have the settings. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
