Here is an image made by the Hubble telescope. In the picture you can see the accretion disk and if you stand back from the monitor a bit you can see the jets streaming from the poles of the black hole running from lower left to lower right. Another cool pic dude. I read recently (but the info wasn't new because I know I've read it before) that every galaxy that astronomers have checked for a black hole at the center has shown to have one. Every single one. Pretty cool when observation backs up theory like that. Not to say that one won't be found without one at it's center. Strange things happen out there, but generally speaking they called it before they saw it. Love that shit. Keep up the good work Chesty! ------------------ | ||

Correct The Dude! Most galaxies have what are actually termed "super massive" black holes that are literally "eating" the galaxy bit by bit. Interestingly, the larger the black hole, the less gravitational pull it exerts. ------------------ | ||
