Follow a ketogenic diet. Yes there will be naysayers, but it works.

Just remember to keep protein at 1gm per pound of body weight, carbs at 50gms or less a day, and fat at around 10-15gms. Just monitor yourself. If you feel sick to your stomach, you need to increase your carbs a bit. And you don't want to have anything to eat a minimum of two hours before bed.

The carbs need to be extremely low gycemic index carbs, brocolli, asparagus, green beens. It is a bitch diet and takes about two weeks to get accustomed to, but then it is down hill from there to stay on it for another 6-10 weeks.

Carbs are evil...if you're gonna eat em, make it before 2 so your body can burn em before your metabolism slows...

i dont belive its easier for males than females..ok its easier to get those LOW bf percentages..but i dont think we a talking competition here are we? percistence(sp?) isthe key..we have a lots of fancy diets out there, but without the right amount of activity these diets dont mean shit. start reading up on training, and nutrition..you will find that its not as hard as you may think. bodybuilding books ar einfact loaded with good advice..there should be no difference between the way a guy looses weight and the way a girl looses weight..use the same diets, the same training programs..you WILL do great.

2 girls i have dated said they were on "diets" worked out hard and everything....but there thighs, hams are loose and it is gentics-I said BS!..then they scrapped there old ways and did what I did in the gym, ate what I ate in smaller portions, equal amounts for their weight-and guess what, they both went down to 12-13% bf in 12 months and weight loss was only 5 lbs. started at 21 and 23%.

Basically, I think MOST women do it all wrong and do lift as intensely as men, eat as consistently as men and stay as even keeled emotionally as men...stress ruins a lot of hard work at the gym!

Roxy_Chic...here my easy no brainer tips....cardio at least 20 min every morning one empty stomach is a must....diet, if you want carbs eat them in the morning with protein (add alpha lipocic acid if your eating like bread, pasta, rice, or potatoes)...mid day only carbs are fiberous, lots of fiber slow down absorbtion of carbs....evening (weight lifiting) only protein meals and essential fats...

This can be hard to maintain, but once you get used to it...you can't wait to finish your run and sit down for a real meal with carbs ...makes morning soo nice, motivates my run, and makes geting up for work less painful

Carbs is the key for all that mid section weight!!! KEY!!!!! if I eat high carb non fat for even 2 days, I can totally see it around my mid section.....no shit

Sista Roxy - mosey on over to the women's board (not that you've been misdirected here). But you will have to give more information ie: stats, (height, weight, bf%), current fitness level and goal.

The number on the scale DON'T MEAN DIDDLY DO - so we are not about weight loss - but gain of LBM and lower bf%.
