I don't know if I can try again. Or if I want to. She wants to be back together, but is still pretty distant. I was ready to walk and right now I don't feel much towards her. I don't think she truly understands how much this has affected me. What now?     | ||

That is good too hear. If I was you I would just tell her that you two are going to live in separate dwellings and if she really wants to get back together, then you two can start dating again. It will be different with kids but it could help her to realize why she married you in the first place. This way if it doesn't work out you can go your separate ways much easier. | ||

man i just read your story and you dont understand how PISSED off that made me, and its not even my life! this woman has no heart, wtf how could she treat you like this. kick her to the curb man, the quicker you do it the less pain you will feel. the longer you wait you realize the more she was able to manipulate and take advantage of you. your wife deserves the worst, you deserve much better. i do feel sorry for the kids, they will again be at more risk of growing up messed up because of parental mistakes, but thats out of your control. our society needs a wake up call and needs to realize this is the type of act that makes their kids wife beaters, child abusers, school dropouts, etc. etc. anyway i don't put any of this on you. again sorry to hear it and i hope you can manage to find someone to give you some love and respect. | ||

Truck, I'm not sure the marriage is worth salvaging, but you owe it to both children to have a decent relationship with this woman. Yes, she treated you like shit. But she is also the mother of your children. It will be difficult for the children growing up as it is. What they won't need is parents who hate each other. I would say the marriage must end, but the two of you need to stay friends for the kids. They don't deserve parents who are constantly fighting. No easy answers. Matt | ||

Matt, I'm on the same wavelength. No matter what happens, I think we should remain friends (civil/courteous?) to one another. For the kids. In my book, their needs are always first. This has been mandatory in my view since I first started thinking about actually separating/divorcing. I hope my wife will take the same view and not try to sue me for alimony or whatever. I don't want a full-scale war where every bridge is burned. It's kinda messed up, she called me this afternoon and I had to take her to the ER. She was having bad abdominal pain, the OB thought she might be miscarrying. Turns out it was stomach flu. The upshot is that she can't be by herself right now, so I HAD to come home to take care of her and my daughter. I think I'll skate again once she is better though. There's so much she'd need to say and do. I don't trust her at all any more. I'm tired. I don't feel like trying any more. The sad thing is that I don't feel anything for her right now. I'm sitting here looking at a person that I loved more than myself and I feel nothing. Except disdain. I don't even know how to tell her how I feel, or if I should even bother. A week ago, I was still in love with her. Something just snapped, she broke it. I hit my limit. Truly fucking sad. Now I'm just trying to figure out what my next move is. All I know is that I won't live any longer like this. | ||

No doubt!! Sounds like she has got some big time problems. I know peeps that tried to work it out and it never does, Once a cheat, always a cheat. Wow, I never been so pissed off after reading a post in my whole enter life. I read some fucked up shit, but this one got my blood boiling. I would kill that piece of shit friend of yours. I am not kidding either, I would take a bat to his fucking face. As for your so called wife, I am not even going to go into it. I am sorry because maybe I have not right to be pissed off, but I am.
