when u consume a lot of protein the ammonia builds up ...thats why all these jerks say high protein diet is bad for u cuz it converts to ammonia in the brain...and also givin off that odor....simple soloution...take in massive amounts of glutamine...the more the better...so many benefits to Glutamine...including this one/.////its the best...peace | ||

Have you started a cutting cycle? Ammonia smell is caused by insufficient caloric intake. When a person depletes themselves of carbs and vailable fat stores (I mean like when bodyfat gets really low, like 4% low), the body will begin to consume muscle. The resulting sweat will give off an ammonia odor. This is usually seen in bodybuilders who peak too soon (can't stay this way too long), anorexics, and starvation victims. A much more likely cause is that whoever this person is, is working out in the sanme clothes every day - and then leaving their dirty shit in a gym bag, whre the sweat dries and bulds up. This will also lead to an ammonia smell. it's one or the other. Matt | ||
