combat AIDS. "Ride for Life" documents the extraordinary stories of human courage and fortitude along the trail from Houston to Dallas, including a 52 - year old woman who's brother fell victim to AIDS and a young man who has been living with HIV for over 13 years.

The riders are of all ages and from diverse backgrounds; experience levels range from serious to casual, and as with all endurance events, humor plays a major role, often spontaneous, sometimes more deliberate as in the annual "Red Dress Day or Dress Red Day".

From heat stroke to hypothermia - these modern day heroes endured many obstacles to raised over 2 million dollars for AIDS Service Organizations.
