please help me out here..... isnt it true that they want all jews to die what exactly does the koran say about all this ??? this is quote by arafat i posted in another thread..... "The Palestinians are strong as was said in the Koran. We are not affected by this and we will continue our march to Jerusalem, capital of the independent Palestinian state" ....this in itself says that they will never stop until israel is theirs (which by the way aint ever gonna happen) which leads me to my current belief that we must continue to help defend israel and quit trying to be the middle man arafat is a terrorist and nothing else    | ||

Every muslim mind is different but the majority dislike Jews, the Quaran or Koran states that Jerusalem is basically the home or original homeland of the Muslims. Actually none of it makes sense because without the Jews the Old Testament wouldnt exist, Muslims follow the Old Testament but then threw their own spin on it and called it the Koran and also have a different messenger(muhammed)as well. Ignorance is contagious and pride leads to a meaningless death. ------------------  | ||

I think u got it all wrong, it's not just the muslims that hate us(i live in Israel) it's arabs in genenral, there are chrisitan arabs!!!! tot he muslims jerusalem is the third place in most holly places, for us(jews) the western wall is the most holly place!!!! ------------------ | ||

I WAS READING AN OUTLINE OF THE KORAN ONCE... AND I LAUGHED... IT TOLD ME A LOT ABOUT ALL THE FIGHTING IN THE MIDDLE EAST. I DONT REMEMBER TOO MUCH. BUT THE ONE LINE I REMEMBER SAID SOMETHING ALONG THE LINES OF "HE WHO STANDS IN OUR WAY IS OUR ENEMY AND WE WILL FIGHT AT ALL COSTS TO ELIMINATE HIM". OF COURSE THIS ISNT A DIRECT QUOTE, ITS WHAT I GOT OUT OF THE PASSAGE. I LAUGHED, AND AS I SAID, IT TOLD ME A LOT ABOUT THE CULTURE. | ||

Moslem culture was originally extremely tolerant and even encouraged expoloration of the arts, sciences, and greater equality for women. The Jews found a home within Moslem culture for some time and were accepted and respected. The early days of Islam were a cultural flourishing, truly a jewel in the Middle East. Over time, things changed, and the Moslems seemed to change their point of view towards the Jews and became angry at them for not accepting Allah or the Q'uran. Extremism has brought Islam to where it is now. | ||
