The "Palestinians" are always crying wolf. They can't be stupid enough to actually fight such a losing war and bomb an American ship on top of that, can they? They are relying upon the U.N.'s interventionist asses to bail them out without having to lose face. | ||

That is true, what worries me is the intervention of the other Arab states, such as Jordon, Syria, Egypt, Iraq and so forth. It could drag the US into a holy war of monsterous size. | ||

It's nothing new, man, as I'm sure you know. Maybe it's like a boil that needs to be lanced to get all the crap out. All that stuff that we pretend is gone is really always there, under the surface, just waiting for an excuse. I gave up being a utopian when I turned in my Democratic Party membership. Yassir can win what ever awards he wants, and to get the nobel peace prize as you have suggested, incdicates the world does not know what it is doing. So, I say, go in there and but fuck arafat in front of his people then put knife in his skull, I am so sick of hearing about how wonderful arafat is or Khadafi or Hussein. the award is not bogus, some rightful people have gotten it (didn't Mandela win it one year?) [btw, i'm not comparing the two at all]...i don't think attitudes like those are going to help solve anything, i was born in Israel, and have seen family and friends have to go into army missions, and hope that they come home alright, if even at all...all this is going to do is lead to more violence, more killings more bloodshed...having said that, when you send a boatfull of explosives into a US destroyer in a refueling port, you have to expect some kind of retaliation ~leaf~ | ||

The military forces of Arab countries are lousy. Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Egypt are all poorly trained and equipped. Saudi Arabia: they pretty much run the world with their oil, and I think they may hesitate to get involved because they don't want to risk destruction of this asset. Regardless, their army is not comparable to Israel. I don't see a real positive outcome for the Palestinians, and I don't think that Israel is going to bow to UN pressure. Matt | ||

lousy yes, but faithful and willing to die, definitely... i always say we (the US) should mind our own business, well when our ship gets bombed and our men die, its time to show them little sand bastards what the fuck we can do. i say we just take that entire area over and say "want it? take it now!" we all know momar is an act now a days. he acts like he is an american friend. and iraq... well, they will be the first to join in on the fight. this shits gonna get big... maybe that world war three post had some merit. all i know is this is fuckin nuts.. palestine should deal with not having the land. they have had time to get over it. religion is the root of yet another war... question directed to anyone who knows, matt maybe??? does the president elect have ANY say in what the american government does? or does billy boy get the call (well, his advisors etc..) until he is out of office entirely? | ||
