I like that show Titus, and the stuff on the sci-fi channel. Now as for cops after becoming a Sheriff's Deputy I see all the mistakes those officer's make and use it as a training tool so that I do not make the same idiotic mistakes. It is a wonder that they don't get hurt more often. The one episode that did get to me was when the two officers were shot, and the officer the crew was with was running hot to get to the officer in trouble call. I think my heart stopped once or twice. I'll never remember the time my partner and me started for an officer in trouble call. He was about ten miles away and it was early evening. We hit the freeway doing 145+ lights and sirens. We were passing city cop cars like they were standing still. We could here the officer on the radio fighting, trying to breath, huffing, screaming for help. The first car there couldn't find him. Finally after about 5 minutes they found him and shut us down. He was okay, but that was the longest 5 minutes in my life. I buried to Deputies and my partner buried 4, we were not ready for another officer to go down. | ||
