I think I fried my modem at home. DHow can I check...t serches for my modem when I try to log on and can't find it....I lose alot of stuff...but come on...can I check this...it happenned to me once before when nmy phone line wasn't going thru my surge protector and went straight to my computer and I had to get a new modem...I did this again...damn I hope thats not the case ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

You should run the software that came with the modem it should have a program to check the status of your modem. Also, I think there is an option to do this from windows. Basically, by one put it in if it works, then the other one is bad, if it don't return it and get your computer checked out. Sometimes too, there are conflicts between devices and this could cause the modem to fail too. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||
