No go. Best advice was to wait the two more years till oldest one is 18 and then she is free to talk to whomever she wants. And I can contact her as well without any legal recourse on their part.

Bummer,chesty. Hang in there - at least she's already 16. My son is just about to turn 8 and I could not wait that long. I'm lucky his mom and I get along.
