Once again Freakmonster..you are showing your a true gator fan...like i've said before..typical Gator fan.... I didnt run off at the mouth before the miami game..nope..check my posts on the sportsboard...i admitted that it wouldnt be easy...we played hard..but the hurricanes played better and our fucking kicker SUCKS ASS. ... When you guys lost last week where were you ? you were fucking hiding out...didnt say shit then did you...now you back to talkin shit....November 18 is what i am waiting for... Dont eliminate us yet though for a national championship, its still possible. We lost, i'm grown, i can take it like a woman and i am still a fan. GO NOLES!!! And this is still true: 13 STRAIGHT TOP 4 FINISHES IN THE AP POLL To put this record in perspective, the closest any team has ever come to matching our record is the Miami Hurricanes at 7 straight years. That's At 13 straight, it has reached near mythical proportions and when the FSU string finally ends, 13 STRAIGHT 10 WIN SEASONS Similar to the AP poll streak, Florida State under Bobby Bowden is the Our 109-13-1 record and .886 winning percentage for the 1990's is not just outstanding, it is simply the best. No one has done it better. But just as impressive is the fact that since 1977 FSU (a college football puppy in terms of the number of years competing) has the second most wins and second best winning percentage in all of college FSU won Team of the Decade at the ESPN 2000 ESPY Awards for all college Did you know that in the 1990's, there have been only 8 games matching #1 versus #2? 4 of those 6 were for the National Championship. The majority of college football programs never, ever get the chance to play in even one of those games, never in the history of their program! FSU plays in a Game of theCentury every year. There are 100 Division I schools that have played football for 100 years and never even come close to playing the type of games we play in every year.

Go Canes!! I've been waiting a few years to finally beat the damn noles again. Now we just have to wait to play Michael Vick in a few weeks, that should be fun. Danny [This message has been edited by dannyb20 (edited October 07, 2000).]

Florida State's 13 year streak would not exist if they played in the SEC. Comparing it to Dimaggio is ridiculous. Imagine what the Yankee Clipper's streak would be if he were playing in double-A, the equivalent of FSU's schedule, while Florida plays in a real conference?? I'm an FSU fan, but I'm a realist. Miami also mangaed to win a bunch of national championships in their streak, which FSU has not done. Yeah - they have 2, but 1993 was bullshit (right ND fans?)..... A kicker would really help the Noles right now.... Matt
