I am going to need to invest in a digital camera and digital camcorder. I no absolutely ZERO about this stuff - so any helpful input would be much appreciated.

I need to know what brands are reliable? - What features should I look for? -
So they make a digital camera/camcorder, one piece of equipment that acts as both?
What price range?
Are they all pretty much compatible with most PC's?

Also I will be in need of one of those webcam thingamagigees (not for a little bit, though). Pretty much the same questions here.

This is the model of the camera he bought.
Kodak DC240 Digital Camera
Its pretty good and I don't think it cost him much. I took some pics of me that i'll be posting on the 20th with it.

I see that site has a AGFA Digital camera on for 99.99 after rebate. Does anyone have a AGFA camera and if so how would you rate it. thanks.

For a recorder?_I don't know too much about them.

For a straight camera, its hard to beat the Sony Mavica- pop in a 3 1/2, point and shoot.
Pop out the floppy, put n your computer and view it all day long.....
