OK I RECIEVED A CHECK FOR THE AMOUNT ABOVE.WHATS THE AVERAGE GAIN FOR A MUTUAL FUND.I THINK CHECK SAID 12-14% ON A LOW END.ANYONE HAVE ANY INFO?

I work for a mutual fund company, all depends on your risk tolerances. I think our small company growth is 22% year to date. I would stay away from international funds, and loaded funds. Vanguard and Janus are big companies but they are over-rated. Look at PBHG funds (unfortunatley not who I work for).

For the twelve month period last year %21.07 return for 1999.

3 year average is %20.72

5 year average %24.01

10 year average %19.37

Yeah, great fund YTD return is -1.43%, all that is, is an S&P 500 index fund, and it has not done shit this year. S&P was hot the last 5 years but has not done shit this year.
