I would say hands down AC/DC Prior to Brian Johnson. But I would group in those albums Back in Blac and For those about to Rock. But by far and wide the best would still be prior to Brian Johnson.

Songs like, Jailbreak, Sin City, Squeeler, TNT, Dirty Deeds, Whole lotta Rosie (about an ugly fat chick by the way), She's got the Jack...

FLAME AWAY!!!
Best Ever...
1. The Beatles (deny it if you like)
2. Pink Floyd
3. Black Sabbath
4. RUSH
5. ??? Maybe the Chillie Peppers or NIN.

My Current favs....
Live, Blink182, Pearl Jam, Sound Garden and The Red Hot Chillie Peppers. If the Peppers keep make the strides and leaps in sound that they have they will be a solide top five band.

The first time I listened to "Hurt" I fell on my knees and cried like a baby.. music makes me very emotional.

The only other piece that did that to me "Adagio for Strings" by Sam Barber.

Dre and Snoop? Their music is fun, but I wouldn't call it great...

100 years from now music students will be studying Trent's chord progressions and microtonal techniques.

Next NIN album comes out October 24. Its a remix album of the Fragile. Then Trent releases a DVD of the Fragility tour in November

Radiohead album is ummmmm weird to say the least. They followed Trent's steps with what he did with "The Fragile" and tried to make something that you wouldn't want to listen to. The album has no songs that seem like they'd be commercial hits. Gotta love bands that have the balls to do that.

NIN also has material to release a new album next year and Radiohead supposedly has material to release two more albums in the near future.

Cant wait for the new U2 on Halloween- looks like it has a chance to be their best album yet.

Now: Rage, Pantera, 3-11, Limp, Creed

Then: AC/DC with Bonn Scott - Let There Be Rock, Problem Child, and Highway to Hell make me feel fifteen years old again, with long hair, earring, etc.

For the Montrose fans, I agree...there is no heavier, grungier, or more rockin' riff than the opening chords of Rock Candy

BTW: Van Halen with David Lee Roth or Sammy Hagar?
