I know a teacher in my town who got 4 months parole and had to pay about $45 000 for the kids involved. I bet that the guy didn't do anything else than maybe took a peek to girls shower room. How you can avoid this if you are a training instructor for kids. EVERY ONE NORMAL MAN WOULD HAVE DONE THAT! It�s a sorry thing that the guy didn�t have a proper lawyer. If you work with kids small meaningless things may cumulate and picture you as a pedophile. This is like a 21 century witch hunt. In the US the situation is even worse. Fuck it!    | ||

I agree that it has gotten out of hand and $45,000 is a little steep. But peeking in the girls shower room was fucked up. He should be punished for it, and even if he trains kids, he doesn't need to be in there when they were changing or showering. ------------------ | ||

????? In this country theres been a lot of vigilante action on peapophiles because of Sophie (you may have read on the news. I guess the authorities are just trying to make an example. My son is 8 years old, and if any evil motherfucker were to touch him, I would do hard time for the privilege of castrating the pedophile without anesthetic. I wouldn't want more than just a peek at a 16 year old girl. I don't think that adolescent girls are equipped mentally or emotionally to handle a sexual relationship with an adult man, and it would only do harm. That would be an abuse of power. But I think that a surreptitious peek could be harmless. | ||

I dont' think there is anything wrong looking at things that are already partly exposed... shirts, shorts, skirts... etc. That's just going to be unavoidable and sometimes is step toward flirting. And "accidently" walking in on someone taking a shower (if they didn't lock the door) isn't bad either. Doing something like the Porky's shower scene, or some clandestine video operation, or taking a crowbar to the bathroom door isn't right. | ||

F**K, I lost the long post I wrote about the subject... Well, maybe it was better because I suggested that suitable legal age for sex should be 14-15 years =) OK, the kids in that school were maybe around 12, so that fact makes the incident more serious. The teacher should have known better, because he was the authority in the school. Anyway, you must like kids if you work with them everyday and liking the kids can be interpreted falsely. I remember that guy was really a nice guy and a good teacher. A sort of a heroic type for kids. I don�t object punishing the teacher, but the punishment should be in proportion to the crime. Especially the fines sound way too high if the crime was considered so light that 4 months parole was enough. | ||
