From what I have gathered, you just need to show up at a recruiting office in France with a simple ID card and you can apply to get in. Once you pass the requirments to join, you will be paid about $750-$1200 a month depending on the regiment that you are assinged. After 5 years of service (which is the minimum anmount of time that you can enlist), you can apply for French Citizenship. About 75% of people who join the Foreign Legion change their identity (as will I). There have been numerous Rangers that have tried and quit the Legionnares. I guess I will find out how hard it is. I have nothing left in this country to keep me here. I want to start a new life and that means 5 years of busting my balls and testing myself physically and mentally. I look forward to it. | ||
