totally agree dirk. maybe these damn criminals would think before committing a crime. they now they can live off the govt for the next 30 years, so they could care less. make them responsible and do it quickly.  | ||

Japan has a low crime rate because people are afraid to break the law. Thats the key, make them afraid by pulling stiffer penalties. | ||

Oh there's a greeaat fucking idea. One felony=death? How many of you would still use AS if that was true? I think that's a bit extreme. On the other hand, criminals in this country have WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY to many fucking rights. It's rediculous. | ||

I think we should have shorter sentences and more cruel and unusual punishment I think if someone gets a DUI the first time they should impound their car the second time you put their both hands in a wood cutter. I think they should ban capital punishment, because it let's people off too easy. I would like to see more inhumane treatment of violent criminals, such as a rapist getting splintered wood shoved up his ass on TV to scare the crap out of people. Then people would think twice about their actions that affect other people. We would live in a society of fear. But killing people is a no, no. And killers can get their arms and feet cut off and feed to birds right in front of them, and when the birds start eating the killer the guards bandage him up with no pain meds what so ever, mabye some antibiotics to spot infection and then send him home to his grand ma. ------------------ | ||

Anyone who rapes, or murders, abuse children or animals should definately be killed. I also believe we should allow victims their choice of vengence if they are still coherent. | ||

so you would change some laws then. That is a different story. I agree some felonies should carry death sentences like rape, animal abuse, murder, child abuse, shit like that but there are alot of laws that are just plain stupid. So thanks for the clarification and maybe you wouldnt have done so well in nazi germany. Also PET ROCK has the STUPIDEST THING I HAVE EVER FUCKING HEARD award back. ------------------ | ||

Dirk, If you want that kind of justice, move to Iran. I know a few guys who have a felony - (usually drugs) but they dealt with it and got their shit together and are doing fine. 3 misdemeanors? You can get midemaeanors for traffic violations?! Dirk - what's up with this post? Matt | ||

i think his point was that too many damn criminals are getting away without the proper punishment. yes his numbers are very extreme, but people in this country need to be held accountable for their actions. |
