Whoa... my friend just showed me this cool website. http://www.dialpad.com Apparently you can make long distance calls for free through your Internet connection. Don't know if it works internationally, though, but it looks like you can make unlimited local/long distance calls for free. Looks like the service itself is free too... me play with it tomorrow, heh. -Warik    | ||

i have been using dialpad for almost a year..get a headset to avoid the speaker to speaker delays and reproductions in sound. you can here your self talking out of the other persons speakers through your speakers..so get a headset.......peace ------------------ knowledge = power | ||

I've used dialpad for over a year it's ok service, my sister is using some service where that you can set it up threw the net then pick up your phone and make a call... dialpad is only free if you call within the U.S. at least it used to be...They might have changed their policy...I haven't used it in Months since my mic broke and I'm to damn lazy to get another one... | ||

this works - there is also Net2Phone.com. You need to have a high speed Intenet connection (not a dial up) to pull this off effeectively. If you had an T1 or T3 line (like maybe at work) you could do it with no problem. | ||
