Another place in the Wichita area is Oaklawn or more commonly referred to as Scroatlawn. That is where my friend was killed. Anyway, of all the houses I had been to out there, I saw kids with diapers on that were 3 days old, piss on the floor, bugs crawling on the babies, and the parents or whomever they were just sitting around drinking, smoking and not caring. And the smell, lets just say you never forget that smell. We actually took the kids that time, but I wish we could take all the kids from there and give them to loving homes. While that won't garauntee success, it gives them a fighting chance. Unfortunately or fortunately, however you may see it, we cannot not do that with out due process and that is hard to prove short of what I described above.
