Last time I heard, humans use only about 8% of the brain. Pretty sad... As for downloading data... I don't think so. At least not in our lifetime. It's not like you have a port on your head where you can plug something in and download info. Anything like that would require technology which scientists today would look at and go "wahhhhh, that's impossible!" -Warik | ||

I would estimate that we use less than 10%. It was estimated that Einstein used something like 15%. After a post mortum of his brain (which is still being examined today) it was found that certain areas dealing with intelligence were much different in size and structure than the "normal" brain. Yes, why wouldn't you be able to download info, I mean our brains are nothing more than bioelectrical computers to store information and allow its retrieval and use. How this might be done? Maybe optically, through sound, maybe even a direct link. We know that we can stimulate body functions with electricity by touching certain parts of the brain. So, yeah why not. chesty | ||

We use 8 - 12 percent of our grey matter based on a ratio of mass potential electromagnetic output vs electromagnitc energy actually experienced. It really doesn't have anything to do with what we consider to be congnative reasoning skills. ------------------ | ||
