depends on how old you are... i had 3 in my left ear and one in the right like 8 years ago when i was 17, i stopped wearing them at around 21. at some point you grow up and it just doesn't look good anymore. i've always thought that just one earring by itself looks bad, if you're gonna do it make sure you pierce both ears. | ||

It's your ear man; do what you want with it, but personally I don't think they look "cool" or "nice" on guys at all. I think they look silly, and I really do pre-judge someone based on stuff like that. (I only have one friend who has body piercings... and he got them after we had already been friends for a while.) I'm sure others (including girls) pre-judge people in similar ways. Just don't start putting shit in yer nose and eyes and mouth and stuff... now that's really gross... even on a girl. -Warik | ||

I have a tiny loop near the middle-top part of my ear that I wear occasionally. I think thats the only cool look going as far as earrings as concerned. ------------------ | ||

I have a couple holes in my ear. You know what i think is dumb as fuck, I dont know if you guys see it also out there much but here the kids have been stretching their ears out to put the hoop rings with the center holed out. So there a hoop streatching out the hole in the ear about 1/2" in diameter. You can see right through the hoop. That isnt going to look good in a couple years, when they go job hunting. | ||

Hey Puc, I had my nose peirced years ago, before it was even in style. And three holes in one ear and two in the other. (MY boyfriend at the time was in a band). Glad I did it at the time!! But, people do judge you by what you look like. I got very strange looks from people. I say if you really want it, do it. But, don't go over board like some do..!! Your Friend Pamela  | ||

I had 3 holes in my left ear, but let the Cartledge one close up. When I had a stud in it, it always hurt and a hoop up there didn't look good on me. So I got 2 hoops in my left. Might get one in my right, don't know. I hate people that'll judge me b/c I got earrings, but it comes with the territory. They think I'm some dumbass punk and are surprised to find out I'm smart and polite(when I wanna be) and I really hate it when people make assumptions bout me cause of my accent. If any of you have a South Philly accent you know what I mean. Anyways, if ya wanna get an earring go for it. Don't let anyone talk ya out of it once ya made up your mind. And if you do get it and decide ya don't like it then take it out and let it close up. |
