It's suppose to measure body fat, lean mass, and all the other stuff.. Do you guys have any clue how the hell it's suppose to work?(im assuming it sends electrical pulses through ur body, can someone eloborate more?) Is this shit accurate? worth it?

I have one too .. pain in the butt. Definately over estimates your body fat percentage because there is NO WAY I'm 29% fat. Tanita also makes these "more accurate" scales that cost $600 but why bother? I'll go by some calipers and learn how to use them.

I have a Tanita body fat scale. Although it is not as accurate as the immersion test it is good to tell you that you are reducing you body fat. It is important that you take the reading at or near the same time each day and that you void your bladder prior to testing. All this is in the manual. Also, make sure you set it to athletic or you will read high.
