guys i am talking about the aboriginal flag which was created in the 60's when a group of radical protesters created it in an effort to create a seperate aboriginal nation, as im in my 20's i am not SORRY for shit, i did nothing and am getting sick and tired of having to be sorry for something that was done 100-200 years ago from no fucking relations whatesover of mine, i think the aboriginal culture is something that this country should have great pride in but when you represent Australia you represent the Irish immigrants, the vietnamese, the africans, the new zealanders etc. and the original settlers(aboriginals) and you represent them under one flag which was created in 1900, when Australia become a nation.Shit, im the first to admit that the past was one of extreme disgrace for those who committed it(none being alive today) but i am not going to say SORRY for someone elses behaviour,

In America we do the same thing. We continually apologize for the mistakes of the past committed by people who are long since dead. The United States was a melting pot of all races and creeds and now the most infuriating thing I have seen yet is the fact that you are no longer an American. You are African American, what a fucking joke, your ancestors may be from Africa, but you were born here, you are American, if you want to be African go back to Africa. Secondly the Aborigines were NOT the first people inhabiting Australia. There was another people here first, similar to the New Zealand Maori but who were a peaceful non war like tribe unlike their eastern cousins. The aborigines felt the need to totally kill off this peaceful tribe.

It WILL NEVER Be able to compare to the systematic extermination that American Indians endured and from I have gathered the Natives of Australia have gone threw some simiular situations in comparrison. many of them have no idea what they are today and are in a worst situation because of what has happened. In some cases such as my native American ancestors they changed with the times and continued to live on, others haven't learned that yet....Years of reservation living gave many generations no incentive to work since they were given everything and often told they weren't allowed to work except growing a little food for themselves and now they don't all know how to...The education base still isn't very good... Though from my few trips to visit a reservation as a child things have always got a little better.

My ancestors changed cause they were some of the Few cherokees that weren't murdered for their land in OK which had oil, gas, and prosperous mineral rights. The money they got wasn't as much as a non indian would have got but it was enough to get my great grandparents their own land off the reservation after they were given permission to leave...Since my great Grandparents were Children and some of the last cherokees to be captured from the North Carolina Hills and Mt.s to the west.
