I weigh about 193, 194. I want to be 200. I have set my goal for being this weight in by the mid-end of november. I know this highly depends on individual genetics, but I need a rough basis of about how long it should take a natty to gain 7 lbs, preferabbly 6 muscle and 1 fat. I eat a little over 5000 cals on workout days, 4200-4500 on non-workout days. I also get adaquete sleep and my training is correct. Thanks. ------------------ - I Used To Have 1200 Posts - | ||

Its known and I have read that one can gain a solid and I repeat A SOLID 4-5 pounds of pure muscle each year, but with you being young and having the capablilities and extra hormones working for you right now you can probably get there within 4-5 months if and I will repeat again IF you are consistent with your eating(diet is the key big Frack)and training. Proper diet and Proper training will work more wonders for you than any steroid or whatever else there is and its permanent. Now proper diet and proper training in my opinion is most likely different than 95% of the people on here, whats considered intense and hard core to some is basically a pile of shit to me so you must treat every day you enter the gym with extreme importance and concentration, pick intelligent exercises and execute them perfectly focusing on non momentum and the muscle being worked. Even if your sick or tired for that day, fuck that, suck it up and get the bitch out of you. If these guidelines are followed you can easily stack on some poundages and probably exceed your initial goal of 200, you have all the right tools right now working for you so use them to your advantage. I think its totally possible. I gain 1 to 2 lbs, a week. I am also at 196 trying to get to 210. I drink a wieghtgainer shake right after working out, one before bedtime, and one for breakfast. I eat lowfat, and am progressively losing fat while gaining lean muscle mass. 7 lbs. by November, easy. I would try for 205 just to give yourself a challange ------------------ | ||

Your best bet would be to eat everything in sight for 4-5 weeks and not worry about putting on bodyfat and try and gain about 1-12 lbs. Then decrease calories and up the cardio for about 3 weeks until you burn off the 5-6 lbs of fat that you will put on. The net result should be about 6 lbs of muscle gained with very little fat. I usually will bulk for about 5-6 weeks, then cut for 3-4, then keep alternating back and forth. this way, your usually making steady gains and you avoid falling into ruts and hitting plateaus. | ||

Great, thanks for the help. I have already put on a very significant amount of weight since december, 156-7 to 193-4, but it's really slowing down. I know diet is the key, and mine is devoid of cheat days and what-not, but I can't possibly see my body utilizing more than 5000 cals/ day. I don't know if I can possibly take in more clean food then that either. I already wake up at night to drink a shake. | ||

ive said fuck it to clean food lately...ive been stuck at 175 for a while....im lean too...i just wont accept the fact that im an ectomorph...heres my diet lately wake- 5 grams glutamine, then cup of coffee breakfast: bigass bowl of oatmeal with butter and honey, yogurt, 3 eggs, some turkey, 40 gram whey shake, a couple spoonfuls of peanut butter snack- granola bar, beef jerkey, met-rx, nutragrain bar, handful of peanuts lunch- two big macs, vanilla shake (fuck it) work out post workout- 40 gram whey shake, 5 gram creatine, 5 gram glutamine dinner very soon after- bigass bowl of rice, can of tuna, salsa, more peanut butter, slice of cake, cup of 2% milk or a steak and potato late night- bowl of grape-nuts with 2%milk, some popcorn cakes, cottage chees (cup), some cookies or some shit, 5 gram glutamine right before bed... | ||

i can easily go up or down 6 pounds....i can probably hold 4 pounds of food in my lower intestine alone...i was 173 last saturday, yesterday i was 179....water also plays a big factor....id love to think it was all lean muscle tissue but im not stupid...im waiting to climb over 180...then ill know im on to something.. im not on any juice either, i think it is for shallow punks with no self esteem...i will teach you to love yourself again, but first you must mail me all your sus amps, dbol, primo, etc so i can ritually cleanse you via their destruction...thanks |
