Okay for those into the economics of the world. In the coming months energy prices are going to shoot through the roof! Home heating costs are going to rise by 25 to 40% across the country beginning October 1 when all the base natural gas, heating oil prices are reset due to customre demand, accrued fuel costs and current fuel costs. With this situation in your immeadiate future how do you plan on responding to the situation. People in Pa are already storing up fuel oil which is big in this area. I have a radiant heating system that works off of natural gas so I'm stuck with the local utility base prices since the supposed competition in this market never transpired. What are your plans? ------------------     | ||

Wodin, I dont know if you caught CSpan yesterday but they had on some of the bullshit that is going on out here in San Diego with the utilites (namely-electric).SOme people's electric bills almost tripled. My bill for the past 3 months was between $85-$90 and I have a 2BR apt with NO A/C. I dont leave lights on,ect when they are not being used. It seems the so called crisis here was the plants were operating (intentionally) at 50% capacity. This doesnt undermine what you are talking about,but merely shows you how the utilites exploit the hell out of us. ------------------ |
