Well Mr H. I don't really care to much for abortion, but I dont think my opinion should dictate what a woman does to her body. Here is my argument why I don't care to much for bush or gore, cause I emailed them both asking this question never to receive a reply. If a woman has the right to choose to give birth to a child or aborting it, if she so chooses to excersise that right to give birth with that she undoubtly accepts the responsibility of that child including physical, emotional, mental, AND FINANCIAL responsibilities to that child....If that so happens to be true, then why do men not have the right to choose to be fathers??Mentally, physically, emotionally, and FINANCIALLY...Does a woman possibly going through child birth give them the advantage of choice? Does that criteria seem unjust and unfair to you? DO you as a canidate running for President feel that with a woman having a choice that men do not deserve one to? Do you believe that the laws today protecting a womans right to choose is valuable, and a man not having a choice is valuable also? though this is way off from the purpose of the thread I felt compelled to tell about my experience in contacting these 2 canidates. Perhaps I should start a thread disscusing my feelings and why I feel this way now... | ||

abortion will always be legal in this country so this is a non issue but unfortunately voters on the left and the right can never get past it | ||

Agreed Dirk, But wouldn't it be nice for men to have equal protection when it comes to choosing parent hood? After being accused by a woman that I was her babys father and what I went threw to prove I wasn't, I sure as hell do. | ||

Polls show that even most liberals think that there should be tighter restrictions on a woman's "right" to murder her baby in utero. Whoops, I mean her "choice" to murder a baby. | ||

Are my Conservative colors showing? Maybe I'm weird, but I feel that any procedure thats stops a beating human heart is murder. A baby has a beating heart by 8 weeks in teh womb. It's weird that so many people are against circumcision because it's so painful to the baby, but so many of the same people are willing to terminate a kid's life. | ||

There is more to life than our pocketbooks. So what if Gore imposes taxes to help the less fortunate, Bush imposes them to help corportate america. I'd rather help a mother trying to raise 2 kids on her own, that giving Bill Gates another 20 million. | ||
