I feel kinda hopeless cause I can only sleep
like 4 hours a night & what makes it worse is I wake up like 4 times in that little bit of sleep. No im not on a cycle now eiether.I've tried every over the counter
sleep aid like melatonin,kava kava,valerian
root, tylenol PM you name it I've tried it.
The only thing that works for me is prescription meds like Ambien,Xanax,Klonpin
& valium.Im on prozac right now but I know
thats not whats causing the insomnia cause I've had this problem beore I started Prozac.
Im going to the doctor tommorow but I know she will not give me any of what I really need to sleep.Thats what fucking pisses me off the most. When I go to mexico next year
Im brining back a suit case full of that stuff.Im at the point right now that Im willing to take the chance of getting caught.
It is affecting my life in every way,my attitude & lookout on life my gains in the gym.How the fuck am I gonna grow if I cant
sleep good?Anyone got any suggestions?Oh yaeh I cant smoke weed eiether cause of my job.

Sorry to rant on I just had to get this off my chest,Im in alot of pain........

It may help some out but for a serious case of insomnia like I have that stuff is a joke.
Most of that over the counter shit is a
scam.

Scott I have three suggestions for you.
1. Learn to meditate, there is a group known as the Ishaya's in Va and NC. they are Near you...cured my insomnia by learning to calm the mind.

2. Start a Fight Club, Make some soap, get a job as a waiter and in a 5 star hotel @ night and sabatoge the lobster bisk, splice peices of porn into Disney movies, beat yourself up!

3. Get ahold of GHB!

Just some options bud...good luck!

You've overtrained big time! And each time
you go to sleep, you fear you won't be able to....right? you fear that if you don't trained you won't grow.....right? well all this have compounded your problem further.
Listen missing a few days of training won't
of training won't make you small, instead
the reversed is true,go on rest a few days
or lay off for a few months.OK when you're
on the bed relax from your feet up & when you've relax....then empty your mind & for fuck sake LAY OFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!

im not a big beliver in using drugs and stuff as the first way out. i belive that if you work hard in the gym, and at work, you WILL be dead tired and as you lay down you will sleep. if not it is some kinda mental problem, i have it so i know..ive found that different types of meditation works like shit..sign up for some night classes or sumthing, seeing at yu dont sleep anyway...try beating this without the use of drugs.

It is probably anxiety.

Try effexor instead of Prozac.

Effexor combats anxiety as well as depression.

BTW -- I was in the same situation as you, I tried everything over the counter and much more (GHB, etc...).

Xanax and Valium did work on me, too. Since they are both anti-anxiety meds, I surmise effexor might be your salvation as well.

I have this same problem, What about alcohol consumption? From the time I was a kid I could never sleep. As an adult I started drinking wine before bed. This work great for awhile, but now I have made a habit of drinking to many glasses and it makes the problem worse. I go to bed fine, but wake up several times and after about 4 hours I wake up and can't go back to sleep.

So if you are drinking too much before bed I can tell you it's the drink doing it to you.

I dont drink but like one night a week.I just got back from the doctor she gave me something called Remeron. Its a antideppresant
that is suppose to also cause drowsiness. Its kinda not to be skeptical cause I've tried so many other antideppressants for insomnia that never worked very well,I guess we will see...

I posted a similar question not too long ago, and got a really good response from BackDoc. He uses something called wateroz. I still haven't gotten around to trying it though, my follow through needs a little improvement. Also, ever considered trying l-tryptophane??

3 Words G H B

Use it max 3 times a week... wont solve your insomnia but will get you your sleep for those 3 days and refreshing sleeps they are.

tip: keep an extra dose at your bedside for the wake up halfway through the night and take that dose when you wake up, welcome to bliss. Wake up all charged up and shit, damn it really is a lifesaver if you dont abuse it.
