Awwww...the story behind my name. Well, here it is. (it's not very interesting) I have always been fascinated with frackTals, which are a naturally occuring phenomenon that follows a complex mathematical equation as I understand it, and may be one of the signs that there is an 'intelligence' behind the creation of this existence. When I joined my first BB board, MM.com, I meant for my name to BE Fracktal, but I fucked up and forgot the 't'. So Frackal, is a typo. | ||

Fractals are awesome dude. I did some reading on the Mandelbrot Set the other day... I wish I could find a program that would draw it for me in 3d, or any other fractal for that matter. -Warik | ||

Actually there is Warik, it's called "Painter", and I forget which company puts it out now, but it's got a great little miniprog inside it that lets you explore fractals (fuck I forgot no 'k') with 16000 permeatations. I kind of wish I hadn't tweaked/tripped/smoked/drank/slept my way out of HS math classes, 'cause maybe I would have been able to learn about this phenomenon further. | ||

HS math? Lol... trust me you didn't miss much about fractals. I took all the way up to Calculus II in high school and the only learning about fractals that I did was in Algebra I when I was in 8th grade when my Algebra teacher said: "Look, it's the Mandelbrot Set... watch this movie about it" and no one understood what the hell the movie was talking about since we were all little kiddies and she didn't bother to explain anything to us. Thanks for the info about "Painter," though. I'll look around for it. -Warik | ||
