I SAW IT. OFF ALL THE BULLSHIT ENDINGS..GODDAMN THAT MOVIE PISSED ME OFF. I ASSUMED THAT HE TOOK THE PAGES AND BECAME A GOD OR SOMETHING SINCE HE WALKED 'INTO THE LIGHT'. THE MOVIE WAS KINDA COOL BUT THEY REALLY FUCKED UP THE ENDING. | ||

in the end he finally found out what the ninth gate was. i think it was something to do with the devil?long time forgot. but the part that was so stupid was that he walked into the ninth gate (what the whole damn movie was about) and they did not show what was in it? does anyone agree or was that stupid?lol 1-body | ||

Once again another great film, until the script writer ran out of ideas and presented us with that ass backwards ending. Dude, im pretty good at disecting the meaning of films and books, even the obscure ones. But, I had no clue wtf the 9th gate was about. So someone enlighten my ass aswell, im to lazy to look it up myself. ------------------  | ||

Okay fella, The ninth gate was the gate to hell. The book of who's name slips at this point, was about the nine gates. The book was written by a powerful warlock or something back in the 1600's. It was assumed that of all the printings only three survived. In reality only three copies were ever printed. Within each copy were 3 pieces to the puzzle and 6 that wer not. The real pictures were printed by LF or Lucifer, while the rest were painted by someone else. One needed all nine "real" copies of the gates in order to open the ninth leading to eternal survatude with Satan, albeit you would be high up the food chain in hell, but still hell? Anyway there is the gist of the movie. I found it dragged and lacked content, the ending was quite a let down, but not to be expected. ------------------ Ooooh Rahhh! |
