I sat and looked at it in a store once for about 1/2 hour. Pure crap. MABYE it will work for some more advanced individuals who have a genetic gift, but all in all its a piece of shit. Now, Dorian was supposedly a Mentzer disciple. I have his workout video (Dorian, that is) and he is in NO WAY doing 1 set workouts. He must have done about 8 sets total for chest (I dont feel like poping it in, but if I remember right...), and he was straining for all of them... so much for "one heavy set". | ||

Its a great book! I devote most of my success toward it. Dorian Yates used HIT to break through plateus. As far as the video is concerned he may have used volume training to use up more time on the tape. Like many other pro bodybuilders, genetics, and boat loads of gear are going to give them startling results regarless and radically improve their recovery in compairison to you and I. | ||

I can concede that it is a good course for SOME people, but it will not work for everyone, and I got the impression that he was trying to sell it as the "right" way for all of us. Hes a smart guy, no doubt, and it IS a good read, but it isnt for everyone... ------------------ | ||

I would go as far as to say HD2 works for MOST people. Novice and experienced alike. | ||

Mentzer is God! He was the first to score a perfect 300 in the Mr. O. He should have won that 1980 Mr. Olympia(popularity) contest. I don't blame him for leaving the scene. Check out www.mikementzer.com or cyberpump.com; all you need is in there. | ||
