Let�s think about this logically. Excluding morality, in order for society to run effectively each person must carry his or her own weight. By weight I mean a person must be at least as productive if not more so than they the resources used. So simply stated, we all must do our share in order for society to function and progress to be made. Now lets look at the individuals who do not carry their weight and even use more reassures than they could possible be able to produce. First thing that comes to my mind are criminals. This is a perfect example of someone who causes harm to society by taking more than they give. Second group that clearly stand out are humans who are birthed with serious defects. These �freaks� that got an unlucky hand in the lottery and for all purposes use more resources than they can produce. In the public school system, on average 98% to 99% of all dollars allocated to �special education� are spent on retards. The remaining 1% is spent on the gifted children. An ex-GF used to work with the retards you never see in school. They spend 22 years in public school. The goals for these retards were to teach them the names of the primary colors and to count to five. That was all they could hope for. My thesis is this; I believe humans born with serious genetic defects should be put to sleep with in the first week of birth. So now you know why I have no �feelings� or �compassion� for retards. You think I am cruel don�t you. Try looking across the globe in the country of China. The amount of human rights violations that occur there is unbelievable. For you to lash out at me for my heartlessness is as rhetorical as you suggesting one retarded life is worth 50 tortured souls in China. Since when have I murdered anyone? Since when have I failed to carry my own weight? I have had a carrer prior to college. Now I attend college. I strive to better humanity. Now I ask, what are you getting upset for? I belive it is because I present a value set so out of the norm that it is concidered inhuman. Dr. Koverkian proposed two decades ago that in the field of battle blood from newly dead soliders could be transfused to injured soliders. It was tested on animals and worked perfectly. The army did not like the idea. Most people did not like the idea. He lost quite a bit of respect after that. Why? Because it is out of the norm of societys set code. I ask, is what he proposed logical? Of course it is. And so is the idea of keeping the onces in society who do not produce from being black holes. You talk about my respect on this board being vaporized. I say that whoever belives I "lose" respect for having a alterative view from the blaneness seemingly so prevlant in todays world, so be it. I don't normally take part in these topics, but in this case I want to take the devil's point of view against the majority. I am against any form of euthanizing for the sake of society. Therefore, to clarify before it starts, I disagree with statements of killing retards and so forth. This is just some food for thought. Okay, so we disagree with the idea of euthanising an individual within one week of birth if it is determined that the child has "too" many birth defects. Now I ask how many of you here on this board would allow their wifes or girlfriends to have an abortion because you or she or both were to lazy to get some birth control or find alternate means of pleasure to avoid getting pregnant. Guess what? You have allowed a perfectly viable human being to be put to sleep in a brutal fashion, (especially when talking late term abortions) Isn't this putting your welfare and needs above the child? We may not like them all but they have just as much of a right as you. What about handicapped people who are confined to wheel chairs for the rest of their lives. First off, abortion and putting to sleep children born with severe birth defects is not genocide. Genocide is the systematic process one goes through to murder a race or segment of the populace. This means killing blacks, Jews, Serbs�, and Asians, as examples. A child born with a 40IQ is not a race nor is it a religion. The comparison of my views to Hitler is even more astounding. I did not assert the reason I believed this was to create a race of super humans, nor did I make any claim to there being a master race. I stated that society could best spend its resources helping the gifted and not the ones who have none to give. I never said one bad word about the Special Olympics. Hell, I think we should do a tremendous amount for the homeless and underprivileged. Why do you think I believe that? It is because these people can help society if they get help themselvs. When I made those comments about the retard being beat up I was being sarcastic. Yes, I find those comments funny. I wonder how many of you emailed �bunny� with less than sarcastic reasons. Seems many in society can cheat on their wife, steal from work, but go ape shit if someone says something inflammatory to their preset beliefs. I�ve read many posts about someone doing such and such at a gym and getting the shit kicked out of them by a board remember. Each of those times that person is given a pat on the back, but now it is forgotten. Suddenly, who is the bad guy and why? When do you believe it is ok to use physical force to solve a problem? Actually Dread since intelligence is somewhat detrmined by genetic factor you are advocating genocide of a group of people based on an uncontrollable criteria. The same as any 'race' cannot control their color or heritage also some cannot control the intelligence level. This is due to a genetic predisposition passed on through the recombinance of the parents DNA. When they analyzed old Albert Einstiens brain they found that the region relating to and understanding of spacial relations and mathematics was 1000% bigger than the same area in the average humans brain. This is a genetic anomaly passed on from both his parents in combination. Same as any child who is born with a brain that has trouble processing what we currently catagorerise as intelligence. This board id the proprty of Mr Spellwin - notice his name on the top - so the rules of free speech protected in our Constitution are temperd by what Mr Spellwin wants to allow on this board.
