Does anybody else do this? When I'm at work and have nothing to do i go to etrade and but sell- buy-sell over and over again. This time I lost like $500 on martha stuarart living. This stuff it totaly addicting. I'm going back right now to try to make my money back.

Ridiculously simple e-trade solution:

Sell everything you own. Move into a cheap apartment. Use the cash to buy Cisco. CSCO.

Come back in 10 years.

Sell it.

Matt

What about eMachines (EEEE)? They're starting to sell them everywhere and a parents first choice for a machine is something cheap. eMachines has a good share of the market and will only grow and they're stock is LOW!!

I also like XLNK- Datlink.net...wireless data transferi our worlds future and theyre a cheap play in that sector.

There are people who work here (Cisco) who have been here like 4 of 5 years and they don't need to work anymore... bastards. Hopefully I can be one of those in another 4 years.

How High Do you think CSCO will go? It's at $60 now. I buy 100 shares, costs $6000. It has to move a lot to make a good size profit.
I know it will go up, but how much?

It will go up to $120 and then split... it will probably do that before the end of 2001.

Cisco has been at $60 roughly for a while.

But what people forget is this: There are about 300 million connections to the Internet. There are 6 billion people. That's a lot more connecting to do. Cisco will be at the forefront of that.

Also, a new form of IP addressing will arrive soon which will provide trillions of IP addresses, so that regular household items can be linked together etc.

Cisco will undoubtedly be involved with this also.

we are only at the beginning of the networking world here.

Matt

PS JohnnyO it won't be too long.

Well, I don't plan on retiring when I am old.
I am retired now. I work but it is easy. I don't have a IRA, 401K... But I don't want to live to the "retirement age." I am 44 and figure 65 to 70 and I am out of here. Make some room for someone else, as we are overpopulated anyway. But for those who think they can take it with them are wrong, you came into this world with nothing and you will go out the same. No kids, wife... So I am taking it all now.

How do you guys afford to invest in the market? I thought most of you would have the same problems as me...with spare money invested in gear and supplements!
