Wonder if we could get a "Recipe" forum for posting recipes, pre/post workout recipe ideas and things such as this....what do you think? (I know we have the Diet Discussion Board but this would be just for Recipes.) ------------------ [This message has been edited by Fitnes1 (edited September 12, 2000).]

I think it is cool, but we are WAY outnumbered by a bunch of horney mofos who could probably care less about our receipes. But i think it is a good idea. ------------------

Horny Mofos...That's SLick's vibrator talking again. I could be down for some new recipes. My pre workout meal fo rthe last few years has been a protein shake and some ephedrien and caffiene. Post workout has been protein shake with fruit followed by 10-12 oz of steak 2 hours later.

This sounds like a great idea! Easy, healthy recipes for single folks who don't really know how to cook. High calorie, high protein, etc.

Most boards with recipe forums dont do very well. It would go well for a second but it would lose interest over time. The only recipe I would add would be my Hash Cake, Herb Brownies, Herb Tea, Herb Spaghetti Sauce and Herb Soup. ------------------

not really a recipe but burndaddy's favorite "clean" meal is BBQ chicken breast spiced with burndaddy's own special blent of garlic salt, cayenne pepper and the secret herb, mixed with raw spinach and romain lettuce, sprinkled with black pepper and topped with ICE CREAM j/k, topped with extra virgin olive oil and red wine vineger. its low carbs and I can eat it really fast. ------------------

I WANT TO KNOW SOMETHING! How do any of you find the time to cook? I mean I grill on the weekends and stuff and I slap some steaks down every other day. But my diet is mostley Boiled eggs/ peanut butter / steak and tuna (right out of the can)/ and protien bars. Plus LOTS OF WATER! ------------------

Lisa - glad to hear from you. I sent you a response but I think it is way long gone due to the amount of posts. Anyway, have a good one. WODIN - Actually, I don't cook a lot. I'm wanting to learn to cook healthier. I thought about buying a cookbook for this and then, thought well, I'll just collect recipes from friends first. Then, I'll go from there..... Checkmatebloated - yes, we need to vary the way we prepare these healthy foods we eat. I know when I'm pre-contest especially, I get sick of the same foods the same way, etc. ------------------

~~~SlickassBiatch~~~ - I ran across another recipe on the Diet Discussion Board. You had asked about the protein recipe. Go to the "Oatmeal Protein Bars" post of 9/7/00 and you'll find another recipe. ------------------ |
