I usually do 4-8 reps for large, multijoint exercises and 10-15 reps for smaller, isolation type exercises.

Well, I just added up all the reps and sets for my chest workout that I did last Monday and it came out to be 148 reps over 15 sets, including warmups. Since I do about 5 exercises per bodypart and usually use similar rep schemes all my other workouts would be in that ball park. That being said, I also concentrate on getting the most out of each rep and set, rather then focus just on number of sets and reps.

Here was my workout:
BenchPress: 135 x 10 x 2sets
225 x 10
315 x 6
365 x 4

Incline Press: 135 x 10
225 x 10
295 x 8

Incline Dumbbell Press: 105 x 12 x 2 sets

Decline Hammer strength: 3 plates(don't know how much weight x 15 x 2 sets

Pec Deck: 150 x 15 x 2sets

When you consider my warmup sets, that's really not that much when you train chest once per week.
