from michigan in TN now... anyone else have to go through this fuckin backwards place... they call everything coke!!!! its fuckin pop assholes!!! someone asks me what kind of coke i want, i say COKE YOU FUCKIN MORON!!!! fuckin hillbillies we (yankees) whipped their asses so bad we stupified em for eternity...    | ||

Hey Madbomber!! What part of TN are you in??? I was born here... But, moved away to CA. That saved me.. I was gone for 17 almost 18 years.. I know what you mean about the south.. Have you ran into the ones, that's never been out of the south. They think they know everything... And how they drive. They stop on the on ramps. They do not know how to merge. Anyway, the longer your here, I hope it gets better for you.... I would love to be back in Calif.  | ||

Still here...a Buckeye in Kentucky. No doubt about that merging thing. What is up with that shit!? Are they trying to kill me or themselves? I will give 'em this, folks around here are some of the nicest people (generally speaking) that I've been around. But they sure as hell show you where all of those redneck stereotypes come from (and grew up in the country, but it was the midwest and there is a huge difference!). ------------------  | ||

pam, i am in nashville. i have never seen so many accidents in my life and i am from the motor city. nashville has the most terrible traffic i have ever seen. crosses line the EXPRESS WAYS (duh, the what says a redneck). its insane... mofo's cant drive. | ||

I live in Texas and have never set foot above the mason-dixon line. I live in Austin which is one the most advanced modern cities in the nation. Standard of living is 2nd in the nation I think also. This city is clean as hell but alas... no one can drive here either. Oh, we just hit 112 degrees labor day weekend, guess thats a down side too, beats the hell out of being snowed in though! We have our share of rednecks, but not nearly as many as Dalas or Houston, Austin is like Seattle. ------------------ | ||

From Jersey now living in the "deep" south, it sux, the weather is too fucking hot, the people are too fucking nosey, but the women down here are the best I've ever seen, and I've been lots of places, southern women win hands down.....By the way, if you come to the south and go back up north you are a yankee...but if you move down south and stay, they call you a "damn" yankee........ ------------------ | ||

I know how it can be really tough to go somewhere else and hope to find happiness there. I always compare where I live or visit to life back home. I suggest you learn to live with the things that make you mad...such as "coke" meaning every type of soda, or bad driving. There are good points and bad points about everything. Complaining only makes things seem worse than they are. Good luck. | ||
