Not the Bronx, but Yonkers (Tuckahoe actually). Went to Fordham University. My parents were born and raised Fordham Rd/Grand Concourse. I work out at Dolphin in Eastchester; I just started so I was intimidated by Powerhouse in Yonkers. They have some JACKED UP Motha Fuckas there!!! I turned right around and signed up with Dolphin. Been serious for about 2 months, and have lost about 25-30 lbs (220 to 195). Might eventually switch to Powerhouse, but am too small and weak now | ||

metanoia The guy who owns PowerHouse in yonkers also own the one in the Bronx.Hes a NYPD officer and yes his gyms are hardcore... I havent been to the one in Yonkers yet ,but i heard it was alot nicer than the one in the Bronx.... | ||

Tony, What do you think about beginners going to Powerhouse? How are the people there ? Will they help youor answer questions, spot, etc. Or do they just get really in to their workouts and don't really want to be bothered during sets, etc. I have a lot of questions but am real intimidated. I really want to get in to lifting, and Ive been real faithful, but it's difficult and some times I feel like the biggest pussy in the gym | ||

Tony.....are you talking about the one on Bronxdale Ave because if you are we work out at the same gym but I just started there a few weeks ago. So far I love it! | ||

metanoia They will spot you if ask,but about asking questions youll just have to makesure who you asking.Alot of them are really into thier workouts and might not want to be bothered. gottobebig |
