Why the hell were the guys on Wisconsin suspended? Was it something along the lines that they got discounts on shoes or something like that? Anyone know the details and how they can decide to suspend them b/c of it?     | ||

It was a real fine line in this case. They were suspended for receiving NON-ADVERTISED discounts for the shoe store. The owner or manager gave these coupons out to lots of people including faculty, cheerleaders, non-U.of Wisconsin folks. The problem is that these discounts are not available to the general public. They are therefore viewed as "extra benefits." ------------------ | ||

It's pretty stupid that you can get suspended b/c you got a non-advertised discount. If ya ask me, I think the people who made the ruling were jealous they didn't get a discount. |
