I know this sounds stupid, but my shoes always wear out on the outside of the heels. On both feet. I don't drag my feet. I don't walk with my toes pointed outward. What the fuck?? I buy brand new KK or Johnston&Murphy's and wear them like once or twice and the heel show uneven wear?? Do I have a correctable problem>?? Does anyone else have this problem. Sorry about such a stupid topic. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

my dads shoes always do that..i think you can buy a heel cup stabilizer to prevent "roll over"... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

JD, You are either pidgeon toed, your feet turn slightly in. or bow legged. Its completely natural though for uneven wear to occur in shoes bro. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Do you walk with your feet pointed out? Over time from squating heavy with a wide powerlifting stance my feet have turned pointing out. I kind of walk like a duck or a penguin now and the heels on the out side go down very quick. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

doesnt really have anything to do with pigeon toed or the other way, its do to pronation or/and over-pronating its normal they make running shoes that are stronger on the insides/outsides so they wear evenly depending on whether you pronate or overpronate. I dont know how I know that, but its from years and years a go. Slopain ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Believe it or not my best friend is a shoe maker, and I have picked up a few pointers over the years.. Your feet are probably slightly pronated as slopain stated. This is nothing to be real concerned about. However to keep those new J&M's from wearing down you can have heel plates or taps put on at your local shoe repair shop or some dry cleaners offer this service.. Should cost you between $2-3and this will keep your heels from wearing down so fast... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Thanks!! Would heel inserts work?? Should I go to a podiatrist(sp)??? I hate spending 150 on shoes and having them look shitty after one or two times. I spent 200 buck on some Cole Hann wingtips and went to a wedding and walke to the ferry after and guess what?? They showed wear!!! I will try the shoe repair place. Thanks again, I really thought I was going to get flamed for this post. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
