I'm remember someone mentioning they download Scary Movie in serveral pieces and then burn it all onto a cd. I saw the site but forgot what it was.     | ||

Yep, use newsgroups. alt.binaries.multimedia has movies on it like you are looking for. If you don't have access to newsgroups, or don't want to struggle through them you can get easynews (www.easynews.com) for $9 a month (six gigs a month maximum), and it presorts, organizes and thumbnails all files from newsgroups in a really, really, easy to use way. Tons of movies and stuff. | ||

Newsgroups for movies? Are you insane? Anything that is a large file is usually kept on an ftp or fserve. Hook yourself up with IRC and make some inside contacts. PS - Show, did you get my email with the nudey pics?? ------------------ | ||

I thought a while ago napster was making a site called rapster or wrapster.com I checked into it but at the time it was still just one webpage saying coming soon. Supposed to work like the mp3 trading, but with movies I dont remember the format they had the movies in though. Slopain | ||

Thanks for the link Rexie. I'll check it out when I get home. chemdaddy: BTW I use a free ISP and a free news sever with over 80,000 groups. $0 dollar a month is what I pay. No download limits either to my knowledge. There are actually quite a few free news servers. You just have to look for them. And I'm not talking about deja or the now distinct Remarq or the other web based usenet providers. | ||

Cool. Just fyi, most newsgroup servers that are free usually have a lousy time retaining uploaded files (ie, once the newsgroup reaches a certain file size, they start dropping files). You get what you pay for, I guess. ------------------ | ||

The one I'm using right now is pretty sweet. But like you said the more people that use a free server the more likely it's going to messed up. I've went through a few. All is running good for now with mine. Last time I checked alt.binaries.fitness.centerfolds there were well over 1000 viewable posts. | ||
