With all respect,

If you do not want to see a doctor before and during SSRI treatment, then you must not be that bad off.

If the cost is the big concern, I would suggest that you look into the free mental health services available in your city.

Treating depression and anxiety is more of a process that tends to require some therapy, and meds. I hope you will go seek treatment you will be very happy you did.

If you have to ask what to say, than you probably don't need it. All I hadda do was speak my mind and it became clear that I was in deep doo-doo.

My problem is mainly work/school related.

I cant take the stress, it gets to me soo bad that I feel like I have the flu.

All the gains that I got in the summer time, vanish within 2 weeks of this shit,

How do you suggest I fight it? Maybe I am better of without medication, but maybe Im not.

thanks fellas

If it is persistent (at least several weeks straight), is interfering with school or work, you're losing sleep, lost appetite, deep depression, talk to a doc. Let the doc determine what's appropriate. Also look for counseling you can afford. Meds & counseling work together.
Exercize helps, too. Try to get to the gym.
But talk to a doc.

if u tell ur doc what is wrong he should have no problem giving you paxil since it is not a drug that you could abuse..the only time a doc may not want to prescribe u medication is if u ask for xanex or valium since these are very habit forming and give you a sedated feeling
