for one, evolution totally throws the bible for a loop. and next, this "there must be a high power" argument is stupid and irrelevant. what it comes down to is we all have our own damn religions. meaning mine is no better than yours. the only thing that gives meaning to your belief is whether or not it would benefit others. and making comments like "i hope you see the light" certainly does not achieve such a task. what you are saying is bullshit speculation, no better than what i am saying. oh really, i would come to the conclusion of there being a higher power? whose to say? who even cares, it is just crap we insert in there to make ourselves happy until we find the answer. and yes, 1 day humans will colonize the universe and we will know every answer to all problems. the fusing of man and machine will give us power to crunch numbers and figure out theorums we could never comprehend before. so don't try to make it sound like your bullshit speculation is any better than mine. i just don't make up fairy tales, instead i say "we don't know yet." and to be more clear, here is the point i am trying to sum up: if there is a higher power, none of us know a damn thing about it. it is pointless to try to please something that we have no idea of what it wants. and right now we have no idea what form this higher power is in, and still is complete and total opinion and nothing more. Well I read the topic starter and a few or the replies. I just want to say that I do believe In a god. I believe that Jesus is God and that the Bible is the infallible Word of God. It says in the Bible that God is a spirit. So I believe it is ridiculous when people say stuff like "prove to me there is a God" etc etc. If you accept that the Bible is the Word of God then God will reveal himself to you through the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost is the spirit of God living with in you. It is mentioned in detail numerous times in the Bible. WEll this is basically what I belive, strongly believe, and I have absolutly nothing against anyone who doesn't believe like me. Yes, if you do not believe this way, then..well I do believe you are wrong. But degrading people and their beliefs is also wrong....I respect you no matter who or what you believe. | ||

You have to justify your own exsistence before you can worry about god or whatever it is..! And you cant..! We should not exsist its just to fucked up to justify..! ------------------ |
